Cauliflower

If you want to be more eco-friendly when it comes to your food, try reducing your food miles. For example, if you live in the UK, eat more cauliflower!

Amazing as it sounds, cauliflower is harvested in the UK all-year-round from open fields. Whereas alternatives such as broccoli are transported in from hotter climates or grown in greenhouses for most of the year. Therefore cauliflower travels less and requires far fewer resources to farm compared to other vegetables such as broccoli. Therefore by just having more cauliflower and less broccoli, you’re being more eco-friendly.
