That’s what my Grandma says and she is exactly right!
Most of us are fortunate to live outside of poverty. Let’s face it – If your reading this you have the internet. This means you probably have a roof over your head, food in the fridge and money in the bank. This in itself means you are richer than 70% of the world’s population.
The world we live in is a world of consumption, and for far too many it is excessive and thoughtless. So to do your bit to stem this – Next time you are genuinely in need of something, think not only of the cost to you, but of the manufacturing cost to the environment. Try to buy a quality item that will last you a lifetime, that you will look after because you respect it’s quality. The world is only full of cheap, short lasting products because people purchase them – If no-one did then they wouldn’t be made.
