ants
Ants perform many ecological tasks from which we benefit. I for one won’t kill ants in my vegetable garden because they aerate the soil. They also participate in pest control, and in some parts of the world such as Tahiland, ants and their larvae are a popular part of the diet. When Ants invade our living space however, most of us want rid. Here is an eco-friendly way of doing so using coffee and vinegar.

Before applying any spray, pest control or cleaning fluid to any surfaces in yoru home, test it first on a hidden piece of carpet or the floor to make sure that your home made concoction won’t leave any long term stains or marks.

To get rid of the ants, take a spray bottle full of vinegar and concentrate on cracks on surfaces or on the floor where you think the Ants may be entering your house. Then take some used coffee grounds and spread along the areas you have just sprayed and any other known problem areas.

Repeat the vinegar spray 2 or 3 times in the same day and your any problem should be gone!
