You’ve heard about ebooks and text book renting for students, and of course using your local library, but how about a simple book and magazine swap at your place of work?

Take your recently purchased and read magazines and books into work, and set up a free exchange. Others can bring in their recently purchased and read magazines and take away others to read. You avoid having to pay for postage associated with online book exchanges, and you get the benefit of reading very recent publications.

Some magazines are very popular (e.g. Gossip magazines, New Scientist, National Geographic), and if you don’t want to keep hold of them, others can benefit too.
